GIGABYTE GA-A75M-S2V FM1 AMD A75 (Hudson D3) SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

Pros: I can't believe the people that are giving this board a bad review because the graphics don't work. It does not have onboard graphics, get a graphics card or CPU that has the graphics built in. The available graphic ports on the board are meant to be used with CPU that has integrated graphics built in, some peoples kids, sheesh.

Cons: People that post bad reviews and don't know what they're talking about.

AMD Phenom II X4 940 Black Edition Deneb Quad-Core 3.0GHz Socket AM2+ 125W Processor HDZ940XCJ4DGI
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: It's fast...

Cons: Not as overclockable as you might think. Seems to be a grab bag whether you get 125 or 140W CPU.

Other Thoughts: PC Wizard reports this as a 140W CPU and I think I believe it. Was idling way to hot, using AOD I reduced the voltage to 1.2 and got the 125W that it is supposed to be. Loaded 100% no core goes over 52º C and idles at 37º C. No overclock running at 3GHz it came with. Sunbeam Core Contact CPU cooler does a good job on this along with Arctic Cooling MX3 Thermal Paste. Better than that way overrated silver stuff that can short out things.

Rosewill Green Series RG630-S12 630W Continuous @40°C,80 PLUS BRONZE Certified, Single 12V Rail, Active PFC
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Tested within all specs, fan is quiet, seems like a quality PSU. Sleeved cables helps keep the case neat and uncluttered.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Maybe some of the doa's are people that don't know how to test a PSU??? My last PSU died because a chassis fan wire sucked into the fan and stopped it. Something overheated and burned out. My Bad on that one. Wrapped fan wires with electrical tape this time so it can't happen again.
