Pros: Works as expected. No problems whatsoever. Reasonable price.
Cons: None observed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap. Metal case. Nothing wrong with UI or defaults.
Cons: Doesn't stay completely operational over a multi-week period. Guess that's not a problem if you reboot hardware frequently, but I've personally wasted a ton on time on "issues" that clear up temporarily after you cycle the power on this thing.
Other Thoughts: I'm done with TrendNet for the forseeable future based on this and a tricky problem that bit me with IGMP multicast on a cheap TrendNet switch. A pox upon them.
This review is from: Tripp Lite ISOBAR4ULTRA 4 Outlets 3330 Joules 6' Cord Isobar Surge Suppressor
Pros: Durable case and external parts. Useful indicators. Nothing cheesy about this unit. Good (certainly way-better-than-average) quality has been the norm for Tripp-Lite products in metal cases for oh, decades as I remember. The puported electrical design is far superior to the average "suppressor" in terms of cross-receptacle noise, although I haven't yet taken a scope to it or cracked the case to inspect. This isn't a "hey let's throw a cheap MOV across the input line and add a lighted switch" sort of device. Of course you have to pay for that, but no free lunches, right? All in all, functional and respectable - and not a let-down like so much you can buy these days.
Cons: Nothing to complain about. Can imagine some won't like the size, however. Wouldn't mind if they also offered different models with shorter cords for certain places where the extra just ends up getting cable-tied in a loop to keep it out of the way.READ FULL REVIEW
