Replaced itself...

TomTom 3.5" GPS Navigation With Text To Speech
TomTom 3.5" GPS Navigation With Text To Speech

Pros: It is a great GPS system that is easily programmable to remember frequent locations. It also makes driving much more enjoyable and stress-free.

Cons: It is a target for theives.

Overall Review: My car window was busted out and the previous unit stolen. It costs more to replace a window than it does to replace the unit. Don't make the same mistake I did. Put the GPS away so that it cannot be seen when you leave your car. I hope you all have better luck holding on to them than I did!

Most Critical Review

RMA'ed 1st and adjusted firmware on 2nd

WD WD Green WDBAAY0020HNC-NRSN 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Retail kit
WD WD Green WDBAAY0020HNC-NRSN 2TB 64MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Retail kit

Pros: Large HDD. Properly setup it works very nicely. Price is nice as well.

Cons: When I hooked up the first one it recognized the drive for about 3 minutes and then it would disappear. After trying everything under the sun I sent it back in for a new one. After getting the new one I used the Jumpers on 7-8 because it was running in a WHS machine. This worked... sort of. Any file transfers over 1gig would cause the server to BSOD. I had to remove the jumpers, run the Wdidle3.exe from a boot CD, reset the idle mode and finally placed the drive into a NAS system. Only then did it start to work seamlessly.

Overall Review: If you are tech savvy or if the drive is going into a windows 7 machine it's a great product. But if not, it is a bit of a pain. If I had to do it over, I would have selected a different drive to avoid the compatibility and update issues.

Great Desktop Replacement

TOSHIBA Qosmio - 17.3" - Intel Core i7-3630QM - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M - 12 GB DDR3 - 1TB HDD - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop (X875-Q7190 )
TOSHIBA Qosmio - 17.3" - Intel Core i7-3630QM - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 670M - 12 GB DDR3 - 1TB HDD - Windows 8 - Gaming Laptop (X875-Q7190 )

Pros: The computer has a lot of speed. The 670M runs moderately intensive games in high and ultra settings without issue. This is impressive considering the price point. It also runs cool and quiet. The display is very sharp. Moderate bloatware but easily removed. The quality of build surprised me, it's a solid machine which is a nice change from the msi and asus that came before it.

Cons: Windows 8 is a drag but it gave me an opportunity to rethink what I wanted my computer to be. Then, with 3rd party softward like pokki, i turned it back into a windows 7 type machine. All in all, I love the end result so I can't hate on 8 too much. The only real con I can think of is that the heat exhaust is on the right side. So when you game with a mouse the fan is blasting your hand with hot air. It's not terrible but it is a little annoying.

Overall Review: The computer is still young, so I'll update as I discover more. All and all, I am very happy with it.

Almost Perfect

MSI Laptop Intel Core i5-2410M 6GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M 14.0" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit X460DX-006US
MSI Laptop Intel Core i5-2410M 6GB Memory 500GB HDD NVIDIA GeForce GT 540M 14.0" Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit X460DX-006US

Pros: Powerful computer in a small package. So far, it has handled all the games I have tossed at it with ease. The machine is also mostly quiet and doesn't heat up nearly as much as I thought it would.

Cons: Resolution. I can't knock an egg off for it since it is specified. I didn't realize how much I would miss 1920 x 1080. But the reality is, this machine can run everything at its native resolution. Most machines at 1920 x 1080 can't handle the graphic requirements. Bloatware. Lots of it, but surprisingly easy to clear it out.

Overall Review: I wanted to downsize from a 17' gaming machine but i didn't want to abandon my games. This machine was perfect for that. I can still play the games (albeit with less of the stunning beauty). But I can also take this think off the charger for more than an 40 minutes. All in all, I am very pleased

Great Value

JVC Black HA-FXC51 3.5mm Connector Inner-Ear Micro HD Earphone (Black)
JVC Black HA-FXC51 3.5mm Connector Inner-Ear Micro HD Earphone (Black)

Pros: Ear buds stay in through workout. Clip allows for little bouncing while running. Sound quality is very good (though not great). Block out 90% of external sound. Great product for the price

Cons: Sound quality is slightly less impressive than other buds out there, but then again these were quite inexpensive.

Overall Review: Perfect for working out, which is my primary use for them.

Backup Safety Net

Seagate Expansion 250GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive
Seagate Expansion 250GB USB 2.0 Portable Hard Drive

Pros: Works quickly and seamlessly. Powered by USB allows minimal wires and easy storage. Small profile is also very convenient.

Cons: None so far.

Overall Review: After a computer crash scare, I wanted an extra fail-safe back up of my family photos. This little guy was perfect. Easy to plug in, upload files, unplug, and store.
