This review is from: Corel WinDVD Pro 2011
Pros: Plays most blu-ray discs but then that is what is for.
Cons: Tech service is sub-par. There is no phone number to call tech assist if you have an issue but there is a online chat tech that will point the fault at everything but the Corel software. Also when you install the blu-ray disc it takes some time before the movie actually loads.
Other Thoughts: I have an issue with X-men X2 disc that Corel would crash to desktop when I selected the movie in menu. It is the only disc so far that has this issue. Online chat tech informed me that I need to update my Asus blu-ray drive when I informed him this is an older movie and Asus has no updates for thet specific drive. He pointed to DirectX, Microsoft Visual C+++, VGA driver. I informed him all that is up to date ( which it is). He went back to this is a drive issue...... No help at all. The disc was checked at the vendor's store, plays fine. Just hope you don't need tech support. I purchased WinDVD Pro 2011 on Corel's site.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Went from 30mb/s down speed on the Comcast furnished Scientific Atlanta 2100R2 to 35mb/s down speed on this modem...5mb/s boost. Gained appx. 1mb/s upload speed also.
Connected modem, called Comcast, and I was back online inside 10 minutes.
Cons: I read this modem's warrenty online and I would suggest a person make the extra purchase of the Newegg extended warrenty since Motorola has a a weak warrenty on this unit.
I chose the 1 year extended warrenty since I am pretty sure it will not be a lemon if it can make it that long.
Other Thoughts: Praises for Newegg for very fast processing ( processed and handed to UPS within a few hours) and UPS for very fast shipping ( took 2 days instead of 3 days from Memphis to South Texas and to boot it was free shipping). Who can argue about that?
The whole process was seamless from purchasing it to having it online. 5 eggs ( should be 6)
Pros: Very quiet. Pushes a reasonable amount of air. Very happy
Cons: None. All I was looking for
Other Thoughts: I replaced the two loud Dynex case fans I bought from Best Buy that sounded like tiny vacuum cleaners with these.
Nice and quiet again and the temps did not rise.
Pushes plenty of air without the racket and that is all I can ask for.
If you need a quiet 120mm case fan without the irritating whirring noise then these are for you.
Bought 2ea, 1 for intake and 1 for exhaust.
The PC case is right under my desk and I can't hear them.
