Rosewill RTK-090 90 Piece Professional Computer Tool Kit
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 week to 1 month

5 out of 5 eggs This is amazing! 01/06/2013

This review is from: Rosewill RTK-090 90 Piece Professional Computer Tool Kit

Pros: Anti static wrist band!
Allen Keys
Solder iron/lead
So many screws
A little case for everything
I can go on forever, this thing is awesome!

I used the anti static wrist band as an excuse to get it since I laughed at myself for fixing a lot of computers with only 2 different size screwdrivers in my inventory for PC repair. This thing, has everything that I need, I have yet to open the case and not find something to help me. Rosewill might make cheap stuff but this, is awesome.

Cons: None honestly

Razer Goliathus Gaming Mouse Mat - Fragged Control Edition - Standard M

5 out of 5 eggs Bought it as a joke 01/06/2013

This review is from: Razer Goliathus Gaming Mouse Mat - Fragged Control Edition - Standard M

Pros: Great with my Logitech G300(hard plastic feet)
Kinda good with some generic acer mouse(rubber feet)
Can work vertically or horizontally with the way my desk is setup
Material feels awesome! Closest I can come to describing it is, smooth denim. Very well stitched.
Doesn't stink out of the box, I heard some mousepads stink for some reason.

The graphic design on it is durable, I have no idea of what some people are talking about when they say it's already fading out. I use a RUBBER footed acer mouse on it, meaning it should be tearing the cloth which it is but the graphic is sill fine. (I even have long nails and they drag on the cloth at times, still legit. o.O

Stays in place, you have to lift it to get it to move. I'm on a wooden desk.

Cons: The material on the OUTER part of the mat is kinda bad, let me elaborate. It is weaved together somehow and I think this is what people are talking about this, because of how it's weaved it will look like a SMALL furry mess after a while. As in the weave starts to frizzle or whatever. I really don't know what to compare it to but it's not that serious at all.

Oh yea, it might say medium but for me it's pretty small. Not really a con but I thought the large would be too big, I should have went with that. Because of this I end up playing with it horizontally 90% of the time. Still fine though, I will just buy another when the time is right.

Other Thoughts: Newegg somehow shipped it in a box that was for another version of it but whatever. The box wasn't even fully closed, I guess that's free 2 day shipping for you eh?

I got it while I was playing a game, ran to the door signed for it and ripped it out, it fit right in and I felt the difference INSTANTLY! It was amazing.

Rosewill RHM-556 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Headset

5 out of 5 eggs More than what you paid for 07/12/2012

This review is from: Rosewill RHM-556 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Headset

Pros: I paid 9 bucks for this headset because it was already 5 off and newegg had another 5 off code. I just wanted a quick fix for a recently broken Logitech headphone.

It, works, wonderfully. I can't believe how cheap this thing is and how great it performs. To people saying it feels cheap, lies. I had a "gaming" headset before that felt like some kid made it out of their backyard, the cords were thin and it was just lightweight as hell.

The headset feels sturdy and the hidden mic is an awesome ad-on for slouches like myself who lays down with their headset. The cord doesn't feel cheap either. I have a reasonable amount of hair on my head so i wasn't shocked when it was tight if i mounted it strait up. I had to lean the top forward a bit and it works just fine.

First day it hurt my ears because it's been a while since i used this type of headset. Second day, comfy as hell, i can fall asleep with it. People in my mumble hear the true me now because the mic is also awesome.

Cons: Want just half inch more length on the headset itself for my head. It's just my hair that causes it though. Not a TRUE con as it fits just fine if i tilt it forward.

Other Thoughts: Me and my lengthy reviews...

If you are on a budget or just want a cheap fix, i approve.
On-off button is a plus, it's a bit high though. (As in high on the cord, but that's more of a personal issue than a con)

I don't know how i forgot but, it is 9.8 feet! That is awesome because i sit far away from my PC due to a flat screen setup and i have a aftermarket sound card so i wanted to plug it into the back to get the full effect of my sound card without yanking it out. My previous Logitech had to be plugged into the front, as a result, it sounded like ***.

This thing can plug in the back and give me space to lay my lazy self down with it. :)

Fold up feature is awesome as well.
