Pros: Extremely Bright, CREE LED. This is a name brand LED manufacturer. The flashlight barrel is easy to hold, not too big or too small. The light focuses and zooms to light up a big or small area. The switch toggles though: Bright -Dim - Rapid Flash - SOS. It was important for my application that Bright was the first selection on the switch. The option of using 18650 battery (included along with charger) OR AAA Alkaline batteries. If you need to leave the light unused for an extended period of time, then this is an important option so the batteries won't be dead when called upon. Just make sure to rotate them occasionally with fresh so they won't leak and ruin the internals of the light. The light is shipped in a very nice sturdy case that keeps all of the parts together including any spare batteries and the charger.
Other Thoughts: Flashlight technology has come a long way in just 3 or 4 years. If you do not own any of these newer lights powered by Lithium 18650 cell, do yourself a favor and purchase this one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Panasonic BK-4MCCA4BA 4-pack AAA eneloop Rechargeable Batteries
Pros: These are name brand batteries the same as Sanyo Eneloop. It took a cycle or two to reach full capacity, but they are great and saving me money. Be sure you get a good charger that charges each cell INDIVIDUALLY.
