This review is from: HooToo® HT-UH007 USB 3.0 HUB (4 Port, Bus-Powered, Built-in 1ft USB 3.0 Cable)
Pros: None now.
Didn't work consistently, returned & refunded by Newegg.
Cons: The warranty in the manual says HooToo will send a return shipping label. Their Customer Service folks clarified by email, that's only for folks who buy directly from HooToo, not for Newegger's. This was an annoying purchase. No more HooToo for me.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ADATA 128GB UV128 USB 3.0 Flash Drive (AUV128-128G-RBE)
Pros: Large file copies go faster than any other flash media I have. Both reads and writes are fast. The capless slide design works fine, doesn't collapse on insert.
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I've been using a little USB 3.0 card reader with a fast SD card. This flash drive is about as fast in a more convenient size so this just became my new favorite flash drive.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Two sticks work in my Dell Inspiron 17-3721 with i3 3227U CPU at 798.3 MHz, 9-9-9-28.
Cons: I first tried adding one stick but it did Not play nice with the original Samsung M471B5173QH0-YK0 4GB. When both were installed speed dropped from 798.3 to 665.1 MHz. That worked but it was a small performance hit so I got a second G.Skill and now I'm back up to 7981 MHz 9-9-9-28.
Other Thoughts: Buying add-in RAM by matching specs has worked well for me me in the past but didn't this time. This RAM appeared from specs to match the original Samsung RAM that came in my laptop. But it didn't work out and I ended up having to buy a second G.Skill to get it working at best speed. Not my best work.READ FULL REVIEW
