Pros: Yes, this is fast. If you are coming from an SATA II ssd or a hard drive. If you do your homework first, installation is simple and straightforward. Leaves SATA ports open.
Cons: Great for large file reads. Fares much less well with small reads. On a fresh install, the boot time from login to google is well over 5 minutes. After almost a year and a very clean system (I7 2600K, EVGA 580sc, little software running), it takes close to 10 minutes to boot. Once you have everything up and running, and have already opened a program once since booting, they will open extremely fast and run very smoothly for the most part. Fine if you leave your system on 24/7.
Other Thoughts: Honestly, the new Vertex 3's are going to be much faster (real world, though not in benchmarks) and simpler. Having two in RAID0 with another small one for virtual memory would scream past this for about the same money. Tax return time, that's what I'm doing! This one will just be for games and photoshop and whatnot.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great refresh rate, beautiful picture, not glossy (Yay! I can see!!!), plenty of workspace, never a problem or dead pixel...even in 3 moves! Great price, and a great monitor at any price!
Cons: Speakers suck I suppose, but anyone that cares about sound isn't going to be using monitor speakers.
Other Thoughts: Some have said that the stand is wobbly. Personally, I'm generally not trying to knock my monitor over, but I had the center channel for my (heavy) 140w (peak) Logitech speakers mounted on top of the monitor, and the whole thing was on a somewhat wobbly desk, and it never tipped over, even when my 5yr old daughter ran into the desk (an almost daily occurance)!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ADATA RB1 4GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model RB1 2.0 4G
Pros: Cheap. Large capacity. Like the protective rubber casing.
Cons: slow slow slow
Other Thoughts: got it free with the HDD's I was ordering anyway, so no real complaints.READ FULL REVIEW
