Pros: I have the stock firmware 1.0 version, I purchased it for backup purpose when it was on sale, very nice deal though.

This is a re-branded TP-Link router which I can tell easily from it's interface. So it's easy to setup, works in minutes and seems good.

Easy to flash to DDWRT, and it's very stable after doing that.

Cons: Don't know the current version, but mine obviously has so many problems:

-- stock firmware is unstable. I have to reboot the router at least once a day because it often lost internet connection

-- it runs very hot. Seems to me the stock firmware make it run at overclocking speed(confirmed later)

-- Medium coverage range

Other Thoughts: Nice it supports DDWRT and after flashing to use it, the router runs very smooth, not hot at all and very reliable. The coverage range is still medium, however, it's good enough to cover my whole house and drives my 10+ devices well.

5 out of 5 eggs Nice stable router 05/11/2015

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR841N Wireless N300 Home Router, 300Mbps, IP QoS, WPS Button

Pros: Easy setup, works flawlessly, reliable and good range. Also very good service from TP-Link.

Cons: Broken in about 2 years of heavy use. However, TP-Link's service is super good, send a replacement right away.

5 out of 5 eggs Great router and great TP-Link service! 04/27/2015

This review is from: TP-LINK TL-WR841N Wireless N300 Home Router, 300Mbps, IP QoS, WPS Button

Pros: Easy to setup, stable, good range, fast and reliable. All my devices at home runs smoothly with this router, no single issue.

However, after heavily used for more than 1 year, the router died somehow. I contacted TP-Link since it's covered in two-year warranty. They sent me a new replacement right away. Great service!

Cons: None so far.
