Pros: Worked great when I first got it. Used for win8.1 installation, and pc booted up faster than I'd ever seen (<10 sec from end of bios to win8 login screen).
Cons: Now, 5 months later, some issues are creeping in. About 25% of the time, the PC doesn't boot - after bios startup, the drive LED comes on solid and stays that way forever, with nothing else happening. Power off/on and it usually is ok the 2nd (or sometimes 3rd) try. Still have win7 on another standard hard drive, and it always boots flawlessly, so the problem appears to be with the drive, not with the pc.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BYTECC BT-360 USB 2.0 to Dual SATA Adapter, With OTB(One Touch Backup)
Pros: None whatsoever
Cons: Doesn't work. When there are no drives plugged in, I pressed the power button, and the button lights up red. Powered it down. Connect a drive (Crucial SSD in my case), press the power button, and nothing happens at all. Tried both SATA connectors - same result. Tried plugging the USB cable into a powered gub - same result. Tried plugging the USB cable directly into known working port on PC - same result.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: TRENDnet TK-214I 2-Port DVI USB KVM Switch Kit with Audio
Pros: Very reliable, no problems so far. The cable on the switch button is over 4 ft long, so is easy to place near your hands.
Cons: Video cables might be a tad short(34 inches) for some, but my computers are close to each other, so no problem for me.READ FULL REVIEW
