This review is from: Genius SP-HF800A 20W 2.0 3-Way Hi-Fi Wood Speakers
Pros: Love the wood finishing it has!
Bass sounds really good which I got them for, but it's not earth shaking like I wanted.
These are worth your money.
Cons: Personally I would of like it to be USB but that's MY OPINION.
When I try to plug in my 3.5mm audio for my headset into the speakers it cancels it out though :/
Bass works well just not earth shaking bass :C
Other Thoughts: Overall a good set speakers!READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logitech G230 3.5mm Connector Circumaural Stereo Gaming Headset
Pros: Cord for headset to connect to PC is made of CLOTH, YES CLOTH. Now you don't have to worry about the twisting cord death that you get with rubber connection headphones!
The color of these make it look really sharp, and it has AMAZING bass/sound that comes out of this.
Personally I listen to heavy dubstep, and 70's - 90's rock, and you can jam out with them, it's amazing! On a budget or not I would go with this headset or a cheap pair of turtle beaches, because those also have good base. Ear cups are big AND THEY DON'T HURT YOUR EARS AFTER LONG USE (or that's just me)
the adjuster to fit to your head is metal!
When you adjust it and put it on your head, or move it, it doesn't feel like it will snap which is really nice!
Cons: The microphone noise cancelling background noise is too powerful, especially for a somewhat quiet house I live in. Ill put in the other thoughts how I fixed microphone volume so people could hear me talk. The sound box on the (very nice CLOTH cord) :)
only allows you to mute your mic. I wish it had volume control, which is very nice I wish it was USB though thats MY PERSONAL OPINION
Other Thoughts: Wanting to fix a quiet microphone like this one?
I had to go to playback devices>recording>microphone>properties>levels and then turn up microphone boost up to 20+DB so my friend could hear me on a normal volume voice, but this causes me to sound robotic a little. The robotic sound is made because you're asking your microphone to pick up and produce lower sounds
(I.e. your voice)
Pros: Looks cool
Cons: It was small, and when you bend it to put it on your head it feels like it will snap, the microphone is really short, and right next to the top of you cheek. Audio is poor, and microphone did not work at all honesty....
Other Thoughts: Coolermaster makes the best tower cases, but they make bad headset/microphones, its like asking McDonalds to make a pizza. They're not meant to make them, but every once in a while the pizza will be good. Go with gaming logitech headset, or turtle beach headsets. And I bought a new logitech headset on newegg here cause I stepped on my turtlebeaches, BUT ANYWAY
I ended up sending the dang headset back, newegg has great customer service though thank goodness...
