Pros: There is no display port
Other Thoughts: Was getting mixed up with my Gigabyte Silent Radeon HD 6770READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Inexpensive, 2Gb of DDR 5 memory, more connectors that you could ever need (2 DVI HDMI VGA and Display port) Quiet, 7.6 Graphics performance on Windows 7.
OK I am not a gamer, I use my machine for virtual machines and editing photos music etc. This card runs cool (40C idle 50C loaded) and is fast. Has Gigabytes 3 year warranty and they stand behind their products and look after the client. Never had much luck with any other brand so always buy Gigabyte Graphics cards either AMD or Nvidia.
Cons: $20 more than the 1 gb card but you do get the second DVI port as well. Well worth it.
Other Thoughts: The build quality is great. Has a huge heat sink and 10cm fan. Fan looks flimsy but it is not. Have a Gigabyte 6770 and have had no issues. Gigabyte make solid products and this is no exception.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: GIGABYTE GA-970A-DS3P (rev. 2.0) AM3+ AMD 970 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Looks like a nice board has good features. Never worked properly out of the box. Would shut down randomly and the bis would change the boot options to a different drive or DVD. The power supply was a 1000w Enermax. The previous MB had no issues and the Asus one that replaced this one does not either.
This may help someone out. I sent it back I did not like the powering on and off during restarts or reboots and the constant changing of options in the bios.
Other Thoughts: Need to remember to take notice of the feedback, this board has issues and has probably been rushed out to market. Waiting for New Egg to process the RMA.READ FULL REVIEW
