This review is from: NuGiant NSS05 Galaxy Power Surge Strip
Pros: My primary purpose for buying this power strip was the ability to put as many wall warts on as possible and this does nicely for the price.
Cons: Really no cons for the price and convenience.
Other Thoughts: I don’t really care about the other conveniences it has (but it does have them) just the space/placement of the sockets and price.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: The best bang for your gaming dollor in a 14" form factor. Easy to upgrade. Haswell is the King.
Cons: Almost NEEDS a notebook cooling pad to run at full CPU/GPU speed ( I purchased this one - Logisys Computer 140mm fan slim laptop cooling pad Model NP19 from NE) Driver are new and a little buggy. Win8! I would have liked an option for a BluRay drive rather than the DV but that is upgradeable.
Other Thoughts: This laptop is a replacement for my Desktop so I wanted the best I could get in a 14' unit. I just installed a Samsung 830 256GB SSD, I first used the restore utility that MSI supplies to backup Win8 to a thumb drive (needs 5GB free), worked flawlessly. I have ordered another 8GB ram (only one stick installed) and plan on buying a Slim-BluRay drive to replace the DVD. I thought about upgrading to Win7 but the bios would need to be flashed and read people are having problems with Win7 and then can’t get back to Win8.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Logisys Computer 140mm fan slim laptop cooling pad NP19
Pros: Perfect size for a 14" laptop, low height, pass-through USB power plug, large 140mm fan and aluminum mesh top.
Cons: Pass-through USB plug is large, Fan is quiet but slow and doesn’t move a lot of air and the Aluminum mesh is a little flimsy and if pressed in the middle will contact the fan.
Other Thoughts: If you’re looking for something that will fit in a 14" laptop bag and is reasonably portable and doesn’t need the most air movement possible, this is a good buy. If it came with a 160mm fan that might help the air flow problem.READ FULL REVIEW
