This review is from: Kingston 64GB DataTraveler microDuo USB 3.0 On-The-Go Flash Drive
-Lanyard hole on metal (or metal-like) material
Cons: Only the (much less critical, and lower surface area bearing) male microUSB port can be covered.
That black cover is made of cheap material and is just itching to pop off and get lost into oblivion on its first tough day. Considering leaving the microSD for backup retrieval purposes and leaving the main port exposed-as-delivered, but it is the introduction of craap into my PCs that concerns me as much or more than the health of any one USB stick. I'm not in a Sugru-crafting kind of a mood tonight though, so it'll probably be a label making, delay-introducing type of night instead.
This review is from: Samsung 64GB EVO microSDXC UHS-I/U1 Class 10 Memory Card with Adapter (MB-MP64DA/AM)
Pros: Looks fancier than no-name microSD.
Cons: Perhaps the branding is what makes it so defective.
Won't bother paying for Samsung name re: flash memory again. Thought I had made a mistake failing to eject the storage, but no it is dead as a door nail after less than 6 months of service. Huge PITA to redo everything on my phone storage, lucky damage is limited to what it is, can only image the pain of abruptly lost memories.
This review is from: Lenovo ThinkPad X200 Tablet - Intel Core 2 Duo 1.86GHz, 4GB Ram, 160GB HD, Webcam
Pros: ThinkPad and ThinkPad. Everything else is merely a laptop. This X200 is lightweight and perfect, with my copy of Win 7 Ultimate installing easily. I would recommend Win 7 with this machine. Like new condition, particularly on the features that count like the keyboard.
Cons: 1 dead pixel prominently located on-screen. Stylus can only be removed with tweezers or pliers, as spring action does not work on my unit. Not eligible for genuine ThinkPad depot warranty. Came with LoJack for laptops installed from previous owner, requiring lengthy intervention to remove. The OS it came with was installed quickly and without all needed drivers, making initial hardware testing aggravating. I would have had to finish that job myself, had I not decided loaded Win 7 instead.
Other Thoughts: All those cons, and still 4/5 eggs, that is really how nice it is!READ FULL REVIEW
