Pros: Upgraded to this from an old pentium 4. The difference is night and day. I cant slow this thing down! Unlocked the 4th core on a biostar ta790gx xe mobo and Prime95 has been running rock solid for 12+ hours. Amazing value.

Cons: Unlocking the 4th core will give you false readings in speedfan, cpuid hardware monitor etc.

Overall Review: I havent tried to overclock yet but I have no need to. Crysis is running perfect on high settings and I can alt + tab out of the game and start a crapload of programs and it still screams. HIGHLY recommended.

Pros: Fast shipping.

Cons: Dead on arrival. I bought this because of the good reviews. Well, reviews aren't everything. Hopefully the new one will actually work.

Overall Review: First DOA I've had from newegg. Im kind of disappointed.

Pros: All solid caps means this thing will last. 790gx chipset will allow unlocking of cores on certain cpus. On-board video with HDMI was nice. Plenty fast for hulu, hd movies etc. Having 4 slots for memory is a definite plus.

Cons: The BIOS for this board can be confusing and uses some unusual language in some places. If you are overclocking a black edition cpu remember to "enable custom p states" you will then be able to see and change your multiplier etc. My one real con is that when I installed my gtx260 it blocked half of my sata ports, but pobodys nerfect.

Overall Review: Unlocked the 4th core on my x3 720 be. So simple! Just enable ACC in BIOS and BAM quad core. Ran Prime95 stable for 22+ hours on stock voltage. Had to boost to 1.4v to get it stable at 3.2ghz. I basically got an x4 955 for $100 thanks to this board...BUT... beware of Murphy's Law! Don't count on your extra cores unlocking. Just call it a bonus :)

Pros: Multiplayer. I love to play as the zombies. High level of teamwork required(can also be a con). Uses the Source engine so is playable on lower end rigs. I was very surprised at how good the aging engine looked. Graphics arent that important though when the game is as engrossing and addictive as this one is.

Cons: Its not the games fault but...12 year old teammates! There is nothing worse than trying to get through a map with a bunch of immature noobs who cant seem to stay with the group. Not every game is a race boys.

Overall Review: Get a mic. Communication is key. Make some friends on Steam because good teammates are hard to find.
