Pros: Works perfectly out of the box. Good instructions on installing Torque android app and all!
Cons: Blinking light on bottom of module, even when car is off. I suppose to get you to NOT leave it plugged in all the time, maybe?
Most Excellent
Pros: Near-flawless ADF, duplexing scan and print, pigmented ink (even scribbled on with a yellow marker immediately after printing produced no streaking ink!). Software runs great in Win7, there are drivers for linux available as well.
Cons: built-in OCR software by ABBYY coughed up occasional errors under Win7, but ABBYY's tech support found and fixed the problem very quickly (replacement Cambria font package).
Overall Review: Bought this to replace a really annoying other-brand all-in-one. Everything I was hoping for, and more. Haven't used it to print a great deal, but have already scanned several hundred double-sided pages of varying vintages and thicknesses (very thin notebook to not-quite-cardstock; the cardstock I put on the platter instead of running through the ADF). No problems, very fast!
