Pros: Somehow for $280 I now have a T400 with 64-bit Windows 7 Pro. This laptop has obviously been professionally refurbished by a company that knows what it's doing. It appears to have a brand new screen (no dead pixels) and heatsink fan (the keyboard also looks brand new). The computer itself appears to be in mint condition besides some very minor cosmetic scuffs on the corners of the top lid. Also, it came with 3 GB RAM when it advertises 2. The laptop worked perfectly and extremely fast right out of the box.
Cons: Their Windows activation process was a little weird, but I followed the instructions and it worked.
Other Thoughts: I thought this was too good to be true, but it isn't. This is completely legit and an amazing value. I think I might buy one for myself.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Whatever issues other reviewers were mentioning as far as firmware have been resolved as of November 2011, when I bought this item. Worked for me straight out of the box (updated firmware anyway).
I'm getting about 200 MBps read on SATA II. That's just fine for me, this thing just seems obscenely fast to me as someone who has never used a SSD before.
Cons: Price is still an issue with SSD's. I got this on sale for $120, but I wouldn't pay more than that, especially for a budget brand.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Quieter than my Lite-On I bought for another computer build, just as fast.
Cons: Wasn't free.
