Other Thoughts: Best investment to speed up laptops.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ADATA DashDrive UV128 64GB Flash Drive Model AUV128-64G-RBE
Pros: Installs easily and the migrations software you download works flawlessly. Upgraded several Core 2 PCs with these and 2gb of ram. Upgraded to Windows 7 and 8. These refurbished PCs now perform like they had an i5 processor.
Cons: None really, It would be better to have the migrations software on a disk, but downloading was no hassle.
Other Thoughts: Perfect for a server environment where data is stored on a server. Plenty of room for apps and saved a ton of money vs buying new PCs.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It's Intel
Cons: The migration software does not come on the CD, but a download link is provided. The migration software failed to detect the drive on two different computers, one laptop which it was purchased for and one desktop. I called Intel tech support and they said try EaseUS partition master. No attempt to resolve the problem. I was told "software engineers" are working on the problem.
Other Thoughts: This drive was manufactured Aug 13 2013 and they are still working on migration software? Obviously not a priority for Intel. Buyer beware. This is the 28th SSD I have installed, but the first Intel branded drive. Samsung includes the software, Adata, Kingston, Crucial, Mushkin all provide links to migration software and all performed flawlessly. I bought 2 of these, and 2 is all I will buy. All the previous SSDs I have purchased perform very well, so I don't think the Intel SSD is worth the hassleREAD FULL REVIEW
