CM Storm Spawn - 3500 DPI Optical Gaming Mouse with Durable Omron Microswitches
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Sturdy buttons, very good scroll wheel that notches the way you want it to, solid construction overall, rubber grip on both sides, comfortable to use for wide hands, 3 dpi settings and high max dpi, several extra buttons on the mouse

Cons: Not a great mouse for small hands, sensor is below the center of the mouse

Other Thoughts: I liked everything about this mouse except the dealbreaker for me is definitely that the sensor is below the center of the mouse and pretty much all mouses I have ever used before have had their sensor in the middle. So when I do use this mouse, everything is always off for me. Shifting your fingers backwards would mean that the main buttons will be slightly out of comfortable reach.

Corsair Vengeance MM600 (CH-9000017-WW) Gaming Mouse Mat
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

5 out of 5 eggs My favorite mousepad 12/19/2013

This review is from: Corsair Vengeance MM600 (CH-9000017-WW) Gaming Mouse Mat

Pros: High build quality and durable
Hard pad with aluminum plate
Extremely slick glide
Does not slip
Double sided

Cons: None whatsoever

Other Thoughts: I go through mouse pads like most women go through clothes. I own several dozen mousepads and I frequently play FPS and RTS games like Starcraft and Battlefield. This mousepad is the slippest I've ever tried. Most people have issues with control with a slippy mousepad, but I don't have that issue. So if you want a low static fraction and a smooth glide mousepad, this is the one for you. This is the mousepad of choice for me right now and works like a charm with the Razer Salmosa. Although certain mouse feet for other mice might not glide as smooth as the Salmosa, your experience might be different. Mice with larger feet usually have better glide on this mousepad. I notice no signs of wear after over half a year of use, but I bought a second MM600 just in case because I love this mousepad so much.

Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler

5 out of 5 eggs Runs like a dream! 10/25/2013

This review is from: Noctua NH-D14 120mm & 140mm SSO CPU Cooler

Pros: I've used a lot of CPU coolers over the years and they somewhat got the job done while running a little hot. But this.... this cooler. I popped it in and my Haswell cpu is running at 30 degrees C! I've never gotten my cpu that low in my life. I've done a lot of things before like improving airflow or buying a new well ventilated case or switched to liquid cooling. However, they only created minor improvements. This cooler by itself made my cpu 7-9 degrees cooler! Standard cooling like this does so much more and at a fraction of the cost of liquid cooling. If only I bought this item earlier.

Cons: What!?
