This review is from: VANTEC ICEBERQ DDR-A1A Aluminum Heatsinks only
Pros: Cheap. Easy(ish) to install. Looks great.
Cons: Easy to not have them centered properly which can cause problems with setting the memory in place.
Other Thoughts: This is the only kind of heatsink I have ever bought, but they've worked great everytime.
I agree with some other reviewers that it'd be nice of the two halves were actually one piece. Also, some kind of centering guide would be handy.
This review is from: PROMISE ULTRA133 TX2 PCI IDE 66M PCI Controller Card
Pros: Ability to plug in HDD LED is a nice feature. Easy to plug in and driver install is a breeze (once you have everything right). Comes with drivers for pretty much any OS.
Cons: Comes with one PATA cable, but has two ports? That doesn't make sense. Lucky for me I had plenty of cables on hand.
Other Thoughts: DOUBLE-CHECK THE JUMPERS ON YOUR DRIVES! I had a problem where Windows would take a very long time to boot up and then when trying to load the drivers, it would never finish installing. Also, Windows refused to boot into Safe Mode.
Going back in and checking the cables/jumpers, I noticed I had two drives on one cable that were both set to Slave. Fixed those and it worked like a charm!
This review is from: Intel Core 2 Duo E8400 Wolfdale Dual-Core 3.0 GHz LGA 775 65W BX80570E8400 Processor
Pros: Great speed for a great price. Would definitely recommend it to friends and family who are looking to upgrade their machines.
Cons: Stock fan is rather loud compared to the larger aftermarket fan I had mounted on my old CPU. Could just be the fan I have.
Other Thoughts: I'm not one to overclock, so I can't comment on that, but after I got everything setup and powered on my PC, it was reported the CPU was running at 2.6ghz. However, I fixed it in the BIOS and all's well.READ FULL REVIEW
