Pros: Very pleased. I'm using it with an i3-2120 and 2 x 2.5" HDs and it's been in service since April 2012. It measures in at 28W on my APC UPS, awesome. I'm running Server 2008 with no problems whatsoever. Will be getting 2 more for Svr 2012 in a few weeks. Fits great in a 24" deep rack nicely. There's space for 2 x 3.5" drives but if you get 2-gang brackets like the Kingwin HDM-225 you can put 4 x 2.5" drives in no problem.
Cons: Not really a con, but the blue power LED on the front can literally light up a room at night. Kinda like looking at the sun. I disconnected it since the green HD and Ethernet LEDs are almost always showing activity, hense power...
Other Thoughts: Maybe slightly quieter fans, or better control over thier speed. With a system consuming a total of 28W from the wall you hardly need much cooling. It's certainly not a problem though.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Athena Power Zippy P1H-6400P 400W Single 1U Server Power Supply
Pros: I used it to replace a failed supply in an Asus 1U server (RS120-E5/PA4). Asus doesn't make or supply replacement supplies which is a drage but this one was a capable and good substitute. Small unit for the power rating.
Cons: None really. Perhaps if it had a few more mounting holes and such it would be easier to retrofit into a bigger variety of servers, but its compact size allows it to fit into almost any server.
Other Thoughts: I knew going in that this supply would need custom fitting. Because of Asus' design I had to make a bracket to hold the supply in place comfortably and securely. No fault of the supply though. All in all, a good experience.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I've been using this MB with Windows 7 Media Centre for 7 weeks now. Great motherboard. All the features you'd want for a media PC. The on-board video (as long as you put in a Sandy Bridge CPU) is incredible- full 1080P from the HDMI port, never had a glitch. I usually get Asus boards but thought I'd try this one since the reviews were good. No regrets at all.
Cons: The only thing I'd say about it (and this is true with just about every MB manufacturer) is don't install all the additional software on the CD. My friend bought the same board and installed everything and had blue screens. Once we removed the "bonus" software never had another crash. Just install the Ethernet driver on the CD and then get the rest of the drivers from their website.
Other Thoughts: It's kind of anti-climactic because it all just works. There's nothing left to have to tweak or fix.READ FULL REVIEW
