Pros: High capacity
Cons: The input connector to charge the battery pack is very poorly designed. The battery pack would only charge if the connection was angled in a specific direction, and then the connector finally broke off and is now rattling around inside the battery pack.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Efficient, fully modular, and quiet. The fan never even turns on unless the system is loaded, and even then it is silent.
9.5/10 review score at JonnyGuru.
Cons: No aftermarket individually sleeved cables. Corsair sells individually sleeved cables for its modular PSUs (HX and AX series), and since Seasonic makes the AX series, I thought I would be able to use the Corsair cables. However, it turns out the keyed connectors are reversed between the two units and they are incompatible.
If you want individually sleeved cables for this PSU you will either need to do it yourself, which takes several painstaking hours, or you need to get the cables custom made by modding shops like modDIY for $120+. If I had known this before buying I would have purchased a different PSU.
This review is from: Antec Three Hundred Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Cheap, good airflow, comes with 2 good quality fans.
Cons: I don't know exactly why, but the case vibrates a LOT from the fans. The top panel acts like a speaker for the 140mm fan and makes it twice as loud as it should be. Rubber screws and anti-vibration pads are a must with this case.
Also, I'm not a big fan of the power supply placement. For one, it makes it harder to do wire management since some power connectors are at the top of the board. Secondly, this puts the CPU heatsink right up against both exhaust fans, and in most cases, the CPU heatsink blows downwards, so this is going to create turbulence and noise.
The last gripe I have is with the cases wire management. There is no room behind the motherboard or 5.25" bays to hide wires, just a small space behind the 3.5" bays.
Other Thoughts: It's one of the best cases for its price, and when newegg has the 500w earthwatts power supply combo, it's an even better deal. That being said, you get what you pay for with this case. If you like your computer quiet with wires well-hidden, spend some more money.READ FULL REVIEW
