-The ones that work aren't too bad.
Cons: We bought 12 of these for a small office and have had trouble with 5 of them. Washed out colors, hugely over-saturated colors (which couldn't be truly corrected via adjustment) and even some dead pixels. Obviously quality control was out to lunch or something. Do yourself a favor and spend a few more $$ on something decent. NewEgg was also unhelpful when I tried to RMA, but that's more Hanns G's return policy (or so they said) so this isn't a factor in my rating. I've installed hundreds of monitors over the years and never had a batch so bad from any manufacturer. Sad...READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I got a dozen of these to build workstations and two to serve as a flash cache in a VM server. They do not disappoint. Background garbage collection works very well to keep write speeds up when you are using them with a dedicated RAID controller (I still have yet to see one that actually passes TRIM commands properly). I like using them in workstations as well due to their low cost and Mushkin's excellent warranty service (see other thoughts).
Cons: I can't say there are any significant cons for an SSD of this quality, especially at this price point. There are slightly faster drives out there (at a significantly higher price). The 3.5" adapter requires modification to work with some hotswap trays. Be sure to use the latest firmware, as there were some issues with older SandForce firmwares using this controller.
Other Thoughts: Out of the 14 I purchased I did have one go out on me after about 2 months of use. The issue seems to have been with the firmware (from what I have read since then). They cheerfully cross-shipped us a replacement and even offered to pay shipping to return the defective unit. After updating firmware on all the others I have seen no issues whatsoever in 6 months. Mushkin definitely stands behind their product, and that's important to me.
I can tell you from experience that even the highly touted Intel SSDs can and do fail, so if you're planning to deploy a fair number of units these would be a wise choice since you are going to have to deal with any company's customer service eventually. I was so impressed with they way Mushkin handled this process that I have listed them as our primary memory and SSD choice for any new or replacement parts.
Pros: -Even backlighting
-Crisp, accurate colors
-Excellent contrast and detail
-Very good value
-Don't look too bad sitting on my desk
Cons: -Lousy speakers
-Doesn't edit the photos for me
Other Thoughts: I cannot speak to the quality of the included monitor stands but they looked decent. I got two of these as they were the largest monitors I could fit on the dual monitor stand issued by my employer. While they are admittedly nothing like the Samsungs I have at home they also cost about 1/4 as much so that's not a fair comparison. I use them for image editing and have been thoroughly impressed. At this price point you aren't going to find better backlighting or more consistent color. Highly recommended.
As to the other reviewers who lament the lack of included DVI cables, this is clearly stated in the description so that doesn't seem like a fair criticism. As the the speakers problem, I have yet to see a monitor with built-in speakers that weren't terrible. This is probably why I have also never seen a high end monitor ($600+ or so) that had this feature. They work well enough for business use, and in an office headphones are a better choice anyway.
