This review is from: IN WIN BQ656.AD80TBL Black Steel Mini-ITX Tower Computer Case 80W Power Supply
Pros: Very quiet and well hidden when mounted on the back of a monitor. The overall size is remarkably small when you consider the option exists for installing a slim ODD. Ventilation is perfectly adequate using an energy efficient CPU. The supplied VESA mount/pedestal allows for quick dismounting with a simple twist to unlock it.
Cons: Only room enough for one 2.5" HDD. The VESA mounting bracket is plastic, and while probably adequate for its purpose, has a flimsy feel to it.
Other Thoughts: Several other reviews noted an excessively loud PSU fan, but mine is whisper quiet. The only fan I hear is CPU cooler, which really isn't loud at all. Another criticism I've seen is that the slim ODD can't be installed the way you'd expect if this case is to be used in a desktop configuration. Here again, I had no problem orienting it the way you'd expect to using a Samsung slim ODD.
My set up uses a Foxconn H67 motherboard, Intel G630T processor, 4Gb Corsair PC1066 ram, an OCZ 32Gb Onyx SSD, on an Acer 23" LCD.
Pros: Compact design for HTPC functions well as a primary PC for constrained work spaces. Replaced the stock 60mm side vent fan with a Vantec Stealth fan, and the result is a very quiet PC.
Cons: Noisy stock 60mm fan.
Other Thoughts: Used this case for my sister-in-law's PC in the aforementioned tight work space. After replacing the stock 60mm fan, this unit is noticeably quieter than her old Antec micro-atx case, using a Foxconn Intel H67 MoBo, an Intel Pentium 2.8 Sandybridge, 4Gb DDR3 1333 and a WD 1Tb blue drive.
I've seen other people's complaints of an excessively noisy power supply, and I'm not disputing their claims, it's just that the one I received is remarkably quiet.
Sometimes it's the luck of the draw, but this is my 5th build using a hec case, and all of them have worked well.
Pros: Good colors, brightness, no dead pixels and although they'll never replace a set of desktop speakers, the ones on this monitor are better than most built-ins.
Cons: VGA only. With a DVI connection, what is already a good deal would be outstanding.
Other Thoughts: A basic monitor for a great price with free shipping. Some people think it's too small, but it's leagues ahead over a standard 16' laptop monitor IMHO.READ FULL REVIEW
