Cons: Cables are super cheap. The kind where the pins and sockets aren't stable, sometimes pop out. A bit stiff as well, but manageable. Modular cables were very poorly designed, some barely latch and others feel like the latch will break soon.
Other Thoughts: First unit was DOA, will give it another try... update my review afterwards.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: 4 in 1 Remote Dog Training Collar Electric Shock Vibrate Dog Trainer
Pros: Worked well... range wasn't so bad. Very nice to have both a vibrate and shock. Vibrate suffices most of the time, shock was useful on rare occasions. Just knowing that a shock could occur made the vibrate super effective. Even just putting the collar on, my dog was very attentive and made sure to quickly figure out the reason why I'd resort to using the collar at all! Honestly, I think I only needed the shock part a handful of times. Cannot stress how useful it is to have both functions (shock and vibrate) in the same device.
Even just the vibrate part is very helpful for dogs with attention "issues". No need to shock them, just a quick buzz to act like a remote tap on the shoulder. I Often go on walks with just this as a 'remote leash'. Great for dogs that are well behaved but easily distracted.
Cons: Shock level was way too high (tested it on myself, had to add playdoh and tape to make it more reasonable). No way to tune the shock like with a slider... Please if you purchase this, test it on yourself first!!
Shock part failed after about two years, but the vibrate part sill works properly. Have to check the battery level regularly, near end of battery life the functions can degrade rapidly without any indications. Not very nice to see pet chasing a butterfly far off into the distance and THEN realize that the battery was dying and so none of the buttons are working.
Other Thoughts: First and only electronic collar I've tried. I have no clue how it compares to other products. But it worked OK and was very cheap.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Kaz Inc HT-900 9" Table Fan - Black
Pros: Quieter than HT-800, if you want that
Cons: Unfortunately, my previous review was based on my HT-800 model. This model is "25% quieter than previous models", which is absolutely not what I wanted. It actually seems far quieter than 25%, so perhaps the previous model they refer to isn't HT-800. It also seems to push less air.
Other Thoughts: Still a fair enough fan I guess, just not what I was expecting (my fault)READ FULL REVIEW
