Other Thoughts: This video card was fantastic for the better part of the first year I had it. It could handle anything I threw at it with ease, and it was relatively quiet. Unfortunately, around February of this year it started acting weird.
I'd never previously had a video card die on me before, so I was perplexed when it started happening. I realized it was overheating, so I made sure air flow was good to it and no dust was hanging around the GPU. The fan had to stay at 100%, which made my computer sound like a darn jet engine. And even with this, I could only play Word of Warcraft (mostly) and Solitaire.
Crash after crash after crash after crash, some driver related, most heat related. Getting a hold of PowerColor has been a giant pain in the rear, and the one time we actually got an answer back from them it was with instructions to run the same tests I'd already run and detailed in my initial correspondence with them.
Don't but this card, it's awful, and PowerColor is an awful company.
