Cons: It used up the last PCI slot on an old P4 mobo.
Other Thoughts: Bought a second one to use in another machine.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BYTECC USB-GLAN USB 2.0 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet Adapter
Pros: Windows 7 installed the drivers as soon as it was connected to a USB port. No need to use the driver disk. Network connection status shows 1.0 Gb/sec. Relatively cheap way to upgrade a LAN connection if other network devices like router, switch, and modem support Gigabit speeds.
Other Thoughts: Data transfer speed will be limited to the maximum thruput of the USB 2.0 connection at best.READ FULL REVIEW
