Pros: Speedtest.net reports just over 21 Mbps down on my 12 Mbps tier plan, but that's not the true sustained download speed. Download a large file from a known fast server such as Microsoft to get the true sustained download speed. If you're with Comcast you will see the "PowerBoost" speed for a split second and then the real speed for the rest of the download. This modem delivers the speed that I pay for, my old DOCSIS 2.0 modem did not.
Youtube HD videos now play nonstop all the way through without waiting to buffer. My old DOCSIS 2.0 modem could never deliver HD video without pausing to buffer and would often pause to buffer SD video.
Other Thoughts: If you are a Comcast HSI customer you don't even have to call them. Just connect the coax to the modem and turn it on. The lights will flash for awhile and it may reboot once or twice as it updates the firmware. When it settles down with the top four lights on and the bottom light flashing, connect it directly to your computer and then turn on your computer. You can reintroduce your router/switch later. When you open your browser it should take you to a Comcast webpage where you can enter your account number and follow the on screen instruction to finish setting it up.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Memorex Mini TravelDrive 32GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive (Black) Model 98188
Pros: Low Cost
small physical size
Cons: They really should include a couple of extra caps in the package.
Other Thoughts: When the manufacturer doesn't publish read/write speeds you know it's slow so I wasn't surprised by my test results of
4.4 MB/s Write Speed and about 14 MB/s Read Speed. That's fast enough for my intended use.
You can format this drive to NTFS with Windows 7 without using the command prompt.
This review is from: COOLER MASTER eXtreme Power RP-550-PCAR 550W ATX from factor 12V V2.01 Power Supply
Pros: It powered my computer for almost a year.
Cons: This is not a very efficient power supply and thus creates extra heat. The fan has to spin so fast to remove this heat that there is no way it can be quiet.
There are much better power supplies available here for less money.
Other Thoughts: I replaced it with an "80 PLUS Certified" power supply which is much quieter. A huge high speed fan is not required on my new power supply because of the higher efficiency. You can get a good deal on an "80 PLUS Certified" PS here when they are on sale.READ FULL REVIEW
