This review is from: Intel BXSTS100C Passive/active combination heat sink with removable fan
Pros: Silent @ 2481rpm.
My three Seagate 15k.6 SAS drives make more noise than the CPU fan sinks.
Cons: Noisey @ 4440rpm. If I was forced to use this rpm, I would be looking for another fan sink in one minute.
Yes, it is that loud...
Other Thoughts: My motherboard: Supermicro X8DAI bios 2.0c
I have two L5640s installed.
With Bios set to "Low Noise" 2481rpm.
With Bios set to "Balanced" 4440rpm.
Fan sinks keep the CPUs cool even with a room temperature of 90F and full CPU load using Seti@home as a test. ("Low noise" setting)
This is the perfect fan sink for 60W and smaller CPUs.
This review is from: AzenX Blitztorm BT-SC70BBL 70mm Red LED Blitztorm System Slot Cooler
Pros: I needed to cool my Adaptec 5405 Raid Controller.
This product worked very well.
Cons: Full speed will make noise.
Other Thoughts: The adjustable speed is great.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: 2K Games Gift - Duke Nukem Forever Game
Pros: I will play the game and let you know.
Cons: Must have high speed internet.
Steam update: 25MB download
Duke update : Over 300MB download. Yes 300MB !
No PC joystick support...
Only keyboard, mouse or XBOX controller.
Other Thoughts: If your going to play with "The King", you need a stick in your hand. Not a bean flicking XBOX controller.
With Duke 3D, you could assign a function to a certain joystick button. Jump, croutch, weapon select. It was GREAT !!!
Duke 3D is still the Gold Standard...
I called MadCats tech support, their XBOX joystick will not work with Duke Nukem Forever.
