Pros: -Cool "underglow" light
-Good heat management
-Not too loud
-Works great as a "docking station" if you move your lappy a lot and always like it in the same place.
-Big Friendly Buttons
-Comes in my favorite color!
Cons: -"Two USB Ports" except that one of them is to provide power for the thing, so really you're getting back the one it's using up on your laptop, except in the back.
-Height is NOT adjustable; it operates at an angle. Works great in my case, but be aware of that
Other Thoughts: This is definitely the priciest laptop cooler that I've ever owned, but also the most efficient and cool looking. The construction is plastic with a metal mesh over the fan which holds the laptop, so it doesn't seem especially durable.
Worth the price? Well, according to SpeedFan, the GPU on my Toshiba Satellite is idling between 44C and 50C and my HDD is between 28C and 32C, so I'd say it's doing a pretty good job especially considering my GPU used to idle at 60+. I don't want to think about how high it got under load. Temp always comes back down when it starts to get too high. Pretty good product, but from the construction, I'd advise not dropping it.
This review is from: RAIDMAX Tornado ATX-238WU Black/Blue SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Cons: Poorly constructed
USB 3.0 on front panel won't connect to most motherboards
Other Thoughts: I wanted a blue case for my computer. This was the only one I could find in my price range and I was very excited. Within a month of getting this case, the circuit board for the front panel broke off inside the case due to a slapdash glue job. The USB ports on the front no longer align with the holes in the plastic, so I have to open the case to attach any USB peripherals.
To top it off, the front panel has a USB 3.0 connector which uses an unfamiliar pin connector that doesn't work with 90% of the motherboards I've worked with and zero of the ones I have lying around. Very disappointed in this case.
But hey; at least it's blue, right? I'll be replacing it as soon as I can afford to.
Cons: "Jammed" error, unfixable and frustrating. Waste of money!
Other Thoughts: Had this thing for less than a year before it broke down unexpectedly and completely.READ FULL REVIEW
