This review is from: Call of Duty: Black Ops II for Nintendo Wii U
Pros: Enjoyable campaign, lots of weapons and customizations to unlock, solid multiplayer experience, and off-TV play is excellent.
Other Thoughts: Been enjoying this one for a couple months now. Haven't played any of the Call of Duty's since the first one on PC, so it's fresh for me and an enjoyable change from what I normally play on my PC (mostly older stuff like TF2, Fallout, etc). I like to just lay down on the couch, throw on some headphones and play in off-TV mode some nights.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Lego City: Undercover for Nintendo Wii U
Pros: Large, open world littered with things to do and collect (disguises, bricks, super builds, vehicles, extras etc). An enjoyable charm and humor to the characters and story. Very family friendly.
Despite playing many open world games, this one felt fresh for me and I might go so far to say that it exceeds the enjoyment I had playing GTA3 for the first time.
Cons: You might hear a lot about the load times in this game, but much of that is overblown. The one thing I'd say there though is the initial load each time you fire up the game to reach the start menu is seemly the longest and most notable, because you hit that and then select your game which then proceeds to load. Hopefully they work out that initial load with an update, but otherwise it's not an issue for me or my wife.
Other Thoughts: We have eight games for our Wii U and while all of them are great, so far this is the gem. If you have a Wii U or needed a reason to get a Wii U, this is it. It's been years since I have enjoyed a game as much as this one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Fifth different SSD I've had the pleasure of using (fourth OCZ variety) and no trouble. Performs great, came with the latest firmware, and have been happy with OCZ's products and support structure.
