Pros: I really thought I should add this. This is why i bought the card. It ranks at 96% percentile of all rigs tested at 3DMark. I did not "hop it up" a bit. It is all a stock.

Pros: Works.

Looks good, feels good. Top shelf screws supplied with it.

I took blue.

Cons: I would rather have it for $5. I imagine a $5.00 one with shipping and lower quality might not be as nice.

You never see the thing once it is in.

Other Thoughts: I would repurchase for another rig.

Pros: i7-3930K [x42 multi in PerfMon]
Intel DX79T0 motherboard
XFX R9 295X2
QNIX Perfect 32" UHD Monitor 60Hz Display Port
Corsair Obsidian 450 case
GEiL EVO Corsa DDR3 2133 16GB Quad Channel
Raidmax RX-850-AE [ 32a. to each 8-pin]

I am going overboard on the eggs like I usually do not.

Mostly as I now have QUIET gaming.

I come from a Radeon HD7970 and can really feel the difference and feel I got my money's worth [ the old card was around $550 too, the XFX R9 295x2 had a real special offer of 8% + $30 gift card], I paid $30 more for this one over the old HD7970 bottom line. Thanks egg ! ! !

The old card cooled on air and in auto ran up to 80C. In manual at 50% fan it was LOUD - - not so with the new R9 295X from XFX.

I wiped the old drivers & installed [ about a 30-40 minute task in an established system]. I loaded the drivers from the CDROM in the box so far and things checked out very well.

Things immediately were better with a UHD Monitor. I did not get the earlier full price big brand name UHD, QQNIX is a PLS Screen ala Samsung no complaints here.

Anyone should like the clarity and quiet. I am sure extreme gamers would knock the rig but I am an offline casual gamer.

Cons: You must juggle the radiator. I put it in a heavy towel as I lowered the card into place.

I had to get a HDD adapter to a 5 1/2" bay to open the intake fan area. I mounted the SSD backside in Raidmax mount. This added to the reconfiguring.

The Corsair Case now has two radiators up top, you could go three but you have to drop the DVD Player for space. Up top the rads are flooded with barbs down by the rad itself so air in system should be avoided.

Other Thoughts: I got an old platform but I see average CPU speeds at 3.5 Ghz to 3.8Ghz using the 42 multi. I do not know what I gain from the Intel 4xxx and 5xxx in the more basic aspects of a multi use PC. I have the case and coolers set up if something offers a real ":Quantum Leap" in platform performance. AMD could radically jump Intel in '16 to stay alive, who knows.
