This review is from: Affinity SB2160 5.1 CH TV Sound Bar w/ wireless Subwoofer
Pros: Quick setup, Unboxed, plugged in sound bar power, connected 8mm=>RCA Yadapter. Connected RCA to my TV and 8mm to soundbar. Plugged in power for Sub and Synced Sub. 10minutes, tops and I was rocking. Sounds isn't half bad. I got in on this for $99/shipped so its outstanding for the cash.
Cons: Sound wasn't as loud as I'd like. ex, I'd have the sound maxed on the sound bar, but would need to have my TV up around 50 or 60 to get good sound. TV alone at 40 it was deafening.
Also, the sound bars indicators leave MUCH to be desired. 6 or so LED lights, no indication of what level the sound or bass is at, just blinks to indicate it received your input. So you just keep hitting up on the volume/bass until it doesn't get any louder. Kinda annoying, would have been nice to have a "special" blink to indicate you are at peak volume.
Remote is Cracker Jack Box material (as in really cheap looking/feeling)
Other Thoughts: For $99, all day I'd recommend this for a limited space setup like I have. At the current $199.99 price, I'm not 100% sure this would be the best. I saw another one on Newegg for 120 or so that included 2 satellite rears, which connected to the wireless sub, so that would work.READ FULL REVIEW
XFX is a good video card company with a good rep
Cons: NO BRACKETS FOR LOW PROFILE included. LOW PROFILE READY... that's a gimmick. if you are going to sell a low pro card, add in the extra 10cent bracket for actual low pro use. Very disappointed with this omission.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card over others on newegg for a couple reasons. 1) XFX has always been a good video card company, imho. 2) LOW PROFILEREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: XtremeMac Luna Voyager Alarm Clock with iPhone/iPod Dock IPU-LUV-11
Pros: My kid was using my old half broken cheap ipod dock to go to sleep listening to tunes. I replaced it with this and he LOVES it. The display in the front is CLEAR and BRIGHT BLUE (which happens to be his favorite color). The sound is much better than his previous and rivals my Logitech one that cost $100. At the time I bought it for $14.99. It works with Iphone 3g, iphone 3gs, ipod nano (4th gen), and ipod video 3rgen.
Cons: none really. I've seen this a couple other places for WELL over the $15 I paid for it..
Other Thoughts: Well worth the price, sad that its OOS now or I'd order another for my roomREAD FULL REVIEW
