Pros: Drive has been very, very fast. Installed easily, was detected and I was off and running in less than 10 minutes.
Cons: No cons...been a great drive.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Sorry, didn't get to try this thing out since it was DOA.
Cons: I tried using one of these in my synology DS1512+ NAS. The drive group expanded and the drive promptly died the next day. It wouldn't even work in an external enclosure. I did a quick google search on the synology forums(should have done this before ordering the drive), and it turns out that quite a few synology owners have problems with this drive. I am going to try out the Seagate NAS 3TB drive instead and see what happens.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Rosewill Xtreme Series RX850-D-B 850W Continuous @40°C ,80 PLUS Certified, ATX12V v2.2 & EPS12V v2.91, SLI Ready CrossFire Ready, Active PFC "Compatible with Core i7, i5" Power Supply
Pros: Pretty solid, for the first year.
Cons: After about a year and a half of ownership, I walked into my office to find my CoreI7 box was powered off. I tried to power it back up and it wouldn't power up. Dead power supply. So, I spent 140 bucks the first time and now I am having to spend another 180 bucks on an Antec power supply that comes with a 5 year warranty. Newegg won't RMA this unit after a year.
Other Thoughts: Skip this power supply. You might think you are saving money but trust me, you will be spending money again. Out of all the components to try and save money on, do NOT go cheap with the power supply like I did.READ FULL REVIEW
