This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: -Pretty easy to install. I recommend using a youtube tutorial if you don't feel like reading.
-It's hard to say for sure since I changed to a case with better airflow at the same time as installing this, but my CPU saw a temperature decrease of about 15C. AGAIN - part of this is due to the better airflow case.
Cons: -I didn't read the instructions, so this is my fault, but be warned that if you have an AMD processor then most likely you'll want to set the tension screws in the MIDDLE position. I didn't know there was a middle position because I didn't read. Took me a while to figure it out.
Other Thoughts: Recap:
-Temp decrease of about 15C, partially due to a better case installed at the same time.
This review is from: Fractal Design Arc Midi R2 FD-CA-ARC-R2-BL-W Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case
Pros: Just pretend that I gave this SIX eggs.
-tons of room. Cable management is a breeze
-pretty much EVERYTHING on this case is removable, except for foam air filters. (more on this in cons)
-great airflow. Fits several fans, most of which are 140mms
-quiet. I can have all of my case fans chugging along at full speed and I don't hear anything. Even my GPU fan is significantly quieter in this case. I can play heavy stuff while my gf is asleep in the same room. Impressive.
-three speed fan toggle. 5, 7, 12V.
Cons: -Sadly, the only thing that isn't easily removable is the foam air filters. You can get to them very easily, and you can remove them easily, but to do so you have to bend little metal clips. Doing so will weaken the clip and repeated bendings will break them. Therefore, I don't consider them to be removable.
Other Thoughts: Looks really nice.
If you're looking for a roomy case with some aesthetic appeal and really good airflow, this is the case you want.
This review is from: APEVIA CVT43 Power 4 PIN Adapter TO 3 PIN Fan Adapter
Pros: -I mean.. what do you want here? You know what these are and exactly what they do. They have one job, and they do it. Simple.
Cons: -Make sure you actually need this before you buy it. Chances are that if you're buying it, it's because you bought a fan and don't have anymore system fan ports, right? WELL, check to make sure your new fan doesn't come with one already. I made that mistake. Now I have an unneeded $7 piece of plastic and wiring..
Other Thoughts: I'd like to give lower eggs because I'm upset that I even bought this, but I can't because it's my own fault. Just make sure your new fan doesn't already come with one before buying. Otherwise, it does exactly what it's supposed to.READ FULL REVIEW
