Pros: Card ran everything I threw at it. Powerful and reliable for the 1st 18 months.
Cons: Zotac has been highly disappointing when trying to deal with them. I have not been able to correspond with voice and it has been almost 2 months since my RMA has been approved. The last week, I have emailed 3 times and live-chatted to no avail. Absolutely no response on the status of my RMA. At first the process was a run-around. They said there was physical damage so I asked for a pic so that I could submit a claim to UPS on the insurance I purchased when sending it. The pic they took showed no physical damage. I asked for a better pic as the pic they sent 1st was out of focus and showed nothing. They sent the same pic back. I emailed my displeasure and my thoughts that they were giving me the "run-around." they said they would approve and repair/replace the card. Have not heard from them since. It has been at least 10 days. The warranty runs out in early August. I wonder if they are trying to wait until then. They refused RMA at first saying it was out of warranty until I showed that it was a 2 year warranty. Then the "physical damage" excuse was used. Now, nothing! I am heartily disappointed. I have never experienced such problems with any other component companies and I have bought parts since the early 90's. Buyer of Zotac products beware. I will not buy another. Hopefully, they will honor their agreement with this consumer.
Other Thoughts: The 550ti is a good card. I know that currently there are much more powerful cards but on a budget this thing ROCKS! Since they discontinued this card I wonder if this has been a problem all along and I just got lucky. I noticed others with similar problems.READ FULL REVIEW
