This review is from: Samsung BD-FM51 Smart Blu-ray Disc Player
Pros: Small and compact, plays movies just fine.
Cons: Oh my gosh... it sounds like a plane is taking off when this thing is playing... we have to turn the sound way up to mask the sound. And forget about dramatic moments of silence during any movie, this thing totally kills the mood.
Other Thoughts: I decided to return it, but then realized as I was trying to do so that it had been just over 30 days. I guess I will have to bite the bullet on this one. I will give it to a deaf person and buy a new one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AMD FX-6100 Zambezi 6-Core 3.3 GHz Socket AM3+ 95W FD6100WMGUSBX Desktop Processor
Pros: I have used this with two MBs so far and did not need to upgrade the BIOS first for either one... gotta love that.
Easy to OC (I'm running 3.8 without any heat or stress. Will probably pop it up to 4.0 soon, but everything is running super fast as-is, so no hurry.
Cons: None... stays cool, runs fast. What more can you ask for?
Other Thoughts: Currently paired with 16GB 1600 RAM on a Gigab. 9 series MB and an older 4000 HD series Graphics card (256bit)... eventually I will upgrade to a 6000 series and take full advantage of the graphics capabilities, but I'm more into photoshop and family video work than gaming, so no hurry.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Plug N Play and does exactly what it says it will do. Gotta love that.
Cons: Has a big ugly company logo on the face... don't love that so much. But if they build a good product I guess they have the right to put their name on it. I just don't like brands mucking up the front of my rig.
Other Thoughts: Bought this to work with a PCI card I was trying to use with an older MB. That product failed however so I just went ahead and upgraded my MB. This worked in the old MB (but the extra speed was not available due to my old MB), and it works in the new one with the enhanced 3.0 speeds. Buy it if you need it... seems very reliable so far.READ FULL REVIEW
