Pros: decent CPU and GPU combined!
Cons: slightly older socket, the FM2
Other Thoughts: Awsome combo for medium gamer. I purchased this for a build for my 9-year old gamer. I paired it with:
8GB TEAM TLAD38G2400HC11CDC01
some old sata drive I had laying around
I was a little worried he might be disappointed because he was used to playing on my machine that even handles Crysis 3 with no problem (FX-6200, overclocked EVGA GeForce GTX650Ti, + ASUS Sabertooth + 16GB RAM). I had no need to worry. He plays a lot of Minecraft and some older things like WOW or Just Cause 2 with no complaints. On his setup, Minecraft is sometimes a little slower but not by much; he doesn't even notice the difference. I paid 3 times as much for my build's CPU and graphics card and save less than a second on Minecraft rendering at a distance, with no noticeable difference in the near views, and no noticeable difference on WOW or JC2. Great deal!
This review is from: ZALMAN ZM-MFC1 Fan Controller Panel
Pros: Lights are cool. Plenty of connectors and extension cables.
Cons: Didn't fit in my slot just right, takes a few pushes.
Other Thoughts: this is a manual controller rather than an automated. You can turn your fans down to quiet but your stuff might burn up... better to get an automated one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: StarTech 2-Port IEEE1394 PCI Card with Digital Video Editing Kit Model PCI1394_2
Pros: Comes with cool software
Cons: Doesn't work worth a darn. I bought it for my four external firewire drives. Only one comes up occaisionally and then dissapears. The other firewire devices never show up. I might return this thing, it's next to worthless. I'm running XP with a 2.5 year old soyo P4 1.8GHz.READ FULL REVIEW
