G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL7Q-16GBXH

Pros: Great Memory Initial setting XMS 1600/7-8-7-24-2 got me a WEI of 7.8, on the memory performance performance of the test. Modified to Manual 1866/8-9-8-24-2 got me a WEI of 7.9, on the memory performance portion of the test. Everything clock's and overclocks better, very stable and trouble free.

Cons: A tad on the expensive side, but I wanted 16 gigs of balanced quad channel goodness. :0)

Love At First Sight

ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX gaming board with double-sided ROG Armor, 23C-degrees cooler CrossChill and 120dB SNR, 600ohm audio
ASUS MAXIMUS VI FORMULA LGA 1150 Intel Z87 HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX gaming board with double-sided ROG Armor, 23C-degrees cooler CrossChill and 120dB SNR, 600ohm audio

Pros: Everything about this board is stellar. Total quality. Total performance. Extremely well built and designed. Way to go Asus. This being my very first ROG board. But definitely not my first Asus board. All That being said, I'll say this, it's the very first motherboard ever to be plug and go from the first start. No issues at all.

Cons: Absolutely none, some would say price, but I'd have to disagree. At this price point it's a total steal.

Overall Review: The Wifi and blue tooth are screaming fast. Totally online gameable. Refreshing Purchase.

G.SKILL Ripjaws Z Series 16GB (4 x 4GB) DDR3 2133 (PC3 17000) Desktop Memory Model F3-17000CL9Q-16GBZH

Pros: This ram rocks As the title say's, built with Pride, Professionalism, Honor, and Itegrity. Sic overclocking, solid perfomer. Second go around with GSkill and they Deliver!!! 35 years building computers and finally, RAM that's worth it's weight in Platinum! It can easily run @2600++++ Going to be one of GSkill's life long customers.

Cons: Please REALLY!!!!!

Mushkin Enhanced Callisto Deluxe 2.5" 60GB SATA II MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD) MKNSSDCL60GB-DX

Pros: Two of these drives in RAID 0 make for a real eye opening experience. Havent had any issues so far and dont see any reason they might fail. I know they age and performance will eventually fall of, but hey for a boot drive they really rock'n'roll ! These are my second SSD's, and I picked them based on performance, price and reviews, I think I got a winner here as they really scream, WEI 7.9 +++ Read and write performance is where it should be, platter drives don't compare!

Cons: Only minor issue, wish SATA cables would lock into place.

Overall Review: For the money, these little speed Deamons cant be beat!

B3 Revision Rocks

ASUS P8P67 WS REVOLUTION<REV 3.0> LGA 1155 Intel P67 / NVIDIA NF200 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS
ASUS P8P67 WS REVOLUTION<REV 3.0> LGA 1155 Intel P67 / NVIDIA NF200 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard with UEFI BIOS

Pros: Just replaced the first version with the replacement version B3....Thanks to the Egg for being lightning fast in the RMA process.. This B3 revision solved some issues for sure, no more memory problems, no more sata problems... Best overclock with the initial release of the board was a stable 4.3 Ghz, the B3 revision is stable to 4.7 Ghz for me with the cooling currently my holdup for more.... I dont have enough of the right fans....But I dont see an issue with 4.8 -5.0 on air with a little work and proper air management...... SLI with two MSI 560Ti FrozerII's works like a champ.. G-Skill DDR3 1600 CAS7 16Gig Quad channel memory works just great... Overall the B3 revision seems to be a more polished product that lives up to its reputation.... Board layout is one of the best I ever owned..... EFI BIOS is sweet, about time.... Advanced control of alot of parameters in BIOS is unreal to say the least, and overclocking is sweet and easy! Did I say 'Really FAST!

Cons: On board sound issues with some games, usually while starting up, some jerkyness noted here, smooths out once things get going, but still a little anoying to say the least... Also there is a small, very small radio type interferance with volume maxed out, suspect shielding issues.... This is usually an issue with all onboard sound chips, most sound cards are shielded well enough to avoid this problem.... But I can live with a little noise for now, until a really nice USB 3.0 external sound device becomes available. The above is not a real hit on this board as this issue exist with all onboard audio... Its why they sell sound cards etc, I just dont want to break my 2 SLI cards from running at 16x.....

Overall Review: 2600k G-Skill 1600 CAS7 Ripjaws Quad Channel Mega Cooler MSI GTX 560Ti Frozer II in SLI Corsair AX1200 power supply Muskin 60 Gig SSD in RAID 0 (BOOT) WD 640 Gig Blacks in RAID 10 (DATA) Segate 1.5 TB as hot swap system recovery LG DVD drive Cooler Master 690 II Advanced NVidia case Windows 7 64 bit Professional WEI 7.8 I'll Conclude with this statement; The Egg is the best on-line retailer period, second to none period... Intel is the best Processor Manufacturer period, second to none period... ASUS you have a great product here, you guys and girls have really outdone yourselves... I will be buying from the Egg every chance I get from now on, as of this point in my life I will always configure all my system builds with the current mfg. list... Solid components, great support and shear reliability is a standard for me... Again my sincere thanks go out to the Egg, Intel and ASUS for the super quick turnaround with the Sandy Bridge Issue.......

Great Board

ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution LGA 1155 Intel P67 / NVIDIA NF200 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard
ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution LGA 1155 Intel P67 / NVIDIA NF200 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard

Pros: Work Station Board, 16.2 VRM=92% Power efficiency. EFI BIOS=Welcome to the Future, bout time. Will handle any video card you want, ATI, NVidia=2/3 way and Quad crossfire, 2/3 Way SLI, and 4 way Quadro, 4 way Tesla or 1 Quadro and 3 Tesla's, can you say WOW! Sports the second generation I7 and the feature rich P67 chipset. Hello Intel, I'm back. Two USB dongles for internal USB thumb drives, ready boost thumb drives inside the case, so cool. The onboard power, reset switches and troubleshooting LED at the bottom of the board facing up is really sweet. 32 Gigs of DDR3 support, you'll need 12 to 24 gigs to support Tesla 3/4 card setup depending on on the version and flavors of choice. And yes it also allows some Overclocking if thats your bag, but not what the board was designed for, you should go for the Maximus Extreme for that stuff. This board was designed to be extremely reliable and power efficient and above all stable. That's why I chose it. It's a great looking board.

Cons: Dont get me wrong this is a fantastic MB, just like to point out to ASUS what I think could have made a great board even better. 1. Could have used a pair of USB 3.0 headers on board. 2. Could have added support for 4 way SATA6, i.e., RAID 0/1/10 and 6 way SATA3, RAID 0/1/10/5/JBOD 3. Ahh yes and lastly 3 or 4 more, 4 pin PWM headers and included the 2 pin thermalcouple risers for each fan position like the Maximus extreme. This is one sweet motherboard, ASUS I'm back in your camp after a long time away! ;0)

Overall Review: System Build: 1. Cooler Master 690 II Advanced NVidia Limited Edition Case. 2. ASUS P8P67 WS Revolution. 3. Intel I7 2600K @ 4.8Ghz 4. Gskill 16GB kit DDR3 1600 (F3-12800CL7Q-16GBXH) 5. 2 Palit 560Ti 2GB SLI @ 910Mhz Core and 1805 Mhz Shader clock. Yes Nvidia I'm back and thanks for the new GF114 chip, really nice, just so sweet and cool running. 6. 2 Mushkin 60GB SSD's in RAID 0, woo woo choo choo, screaming fast...OS 7. 4 WD 640GB Black in RAID 10, Very fast DATA Drive.. 8. One Sony Blue Ray Burner, pretty quick. 9. Oh yeah Thors Hammer for the processor in Push/Pull arrangement. 10. Corsair AX1200 Professional series power supply 80 Plus Gold Series built to Military standards with better than 90% efficiency. Can you say WOW! Sinlge Rail at over a hundred amps. To all the manufactures of these components, thank you! Win 7/64 bit professional experience index is better than 7.9. And yes Microsoft, Thank you too, but you need to raise the experience index bar, need update.
