This review is from: Logitech F310 (940-000110) Gamepad
Pros: It looks nice....
Cons: For some reason the software and drivers and not working properly on WIN XP....???
"Game pad is not specifically recognized" is the message I keep getting...Tried updating the driver manually, and went to the Logitech site....Apparently, they're out to lunch...???
Seems like a lot of screwing around for such a simple device....
Useless so far...Not recognized usable for any game as of yet...??? Wow...
Other Thoughts: I had a 12 yr old MacAlly Game pad that worked with everything with no issues whatsoever, until it was stolen.
Still looking for driver updates, etc....Can't get any response from the Logitech site today....
Pros: It's a great machine as long as you install the latest drivers...and software that you want.
This laptop is a T-61/7661/WFK. Ignore the pics of the spec labels. It's not the same machine.
Check it out at Levovo.com...
14.1" screen, no bluetooth, GLAN, Wireless G, Core Duo etc...No card reader....
Seems solid, stable. I like it.
It came 1/2 loaded with the Lenovo software.
I installed a SSD and loaded windows and all the latest drivers, etc...It took about a week and 1 half...
Loading the AHCI driver is another story. You have to do it manually, as much as the system fights you...?
I almost had to break it's leg to let me load the driver..But it finally worked ;)
A great machine for the price. Getting it to work right?
Cons: Time consuming to configure properly.
Other Thoughts: They didn't do it right, doesn't mean you can't.READ FULL REVIEW
