This review is from: Collection LED CL-G60E-6W (W) 40 Watt Equivalent LED Light Bulb
Pros: *No mercury.
*Low power consumption.
*$10 for two.
Cons: *Noticeably delayed (2.1 seconds).
*Is actually soft white, not warm white.
Other Thoughts: Honestly, Go with Cree (retail) or SunSun (watch how NewEgg cons you by reducing price, but upping the shipping cost on these; funny). They are much better value and quality.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: +Fair price.
+Replaces an LCD monitor that recently failed.
+No display troubles.
Cons: +Buttons oddly placed for menu navigation.
+The stand it comes with it is less than desirable.
+Analog Audio available only with analog display chosen.
+Mail-in rebate (for $20). Simple discount would be better.
Other Thoughts: If you're someone who has a professional grade audio card (PCI/PCIe) and mainly control your audio through analog outputs but wish to have your video conveniently displayed through video, then pass on this monitor.
The audio output of the built-in speakers are tied to the input. You can only send analog audio if you're using analog video and only digital audio if you're using digital video.
ASUS dropped the ball on this. Some people have dedicated audio cards that use analog.
These built-in speakers are secondary. The display is great. Continue to use your usual speakers, unless you're depending on built-in.
ASUS, if you're reading, please put out a firmware update or something that might alleviate the mixed audio/video issue.
Pros: Performance. Reliability.
Cons: Noise. Click! Click!
Had to RMA one drive for lots of clicking. Second drive isn't any better. I'm not going to RMA a second time because my money has to be spent elsewhere, rather than spending it on Seagate getting it right.
Other Thoughts: I am disappointed in Seagate. And their warranties have shrunk to just one year? I think they know they're putting out garbage. We used to see 3-5 year warranties.
I am not going to RMA this drive again because it costs me money to ship back a product. Seagate, if you're paying any attention, pay my shipping to RMA/replace this drive and I will be a happy customer again... provided I get a drive that runs quietly.
