Pros: This is my third D-Link router over the past 7 years. I was experiencing problems with dropped wireless connections on my Daughters new PS3. My previous D-Link "624" served me well but the dropped connections were not tolerable. I decided to purchase the DIR-625 the other day. I'm not noticing much improvement on signal strength, but the connection appears to be much more consistent! My daughter was finally able to play online for several hours on the PS3 with no disconnect... I do not have any of the N format network cards, so I cannot comment on the performance here. Set-up went very smoothly.
Cons: Nothing that I can see at this time.
Other Thoughts: I would highly suggest this unit for those of you that experience drop-outs or inconsistent wireless performance from your current router.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Work alright for about 6 months
Cons: At 7 months, would not burn DVD's. My video editing programs like Ulead would not recognize the drive. Fortunately, Newegg has a great replacement warranty.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this NEC after what appeared to be good reviews. Let's hope the replacement goes longer than 6 months..READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Foxconn 748K7AA 462(A) SiS 748 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: I guess the idea of no jumpers is good. I will comment once I get a board that actually posts throught the Bios..
Cons: Well, I received the board last week My primary computer went down unexpectantly. I am CompTia A+ certified and can generally figure out most issues. I could not get the computer to post. Now I'm not sure if it's a processor issue or motherboard. I did determine my two month old Radeon 9550 is junked. Anyway, Newegg RMA'd the motherboard and I'm crossing my fingers on this second board posting and giving my Soyo tech AID some post numbers which tells me it's alive!READ FULL REVIEW
