Pros: This is mu third (3rd) SSD that I have purchased from ADATA corporation. I have two (2) SX900 256gb and one (1) SP600 256gb. I prefer the SX900 but the purchase price of the SP600 was too good to pass up at $125.00. I have installed this drive in a new HP 15-E027CL laptop with a fresh copy of Windows 7 home 64-bit. Bootup time is very fast l (the Windows startup screen does not finished displaying display the classic Windows 7 graphics before the login screen appears).
Cons: None so far. If anything happen, I will update this post immediately.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: This is a very fast laptop once you upgrade the RAM it is maximum (8GB) and replaced the Toshiba 750GB with a SSD drive (I used ADATA Premium Pro 256GB). I do not personal like Windows 8 operating system and immediately replaced it with Windows 7 home 64-bit. Beware, you will need to visit HP website and download the drivers from windows 7 (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareCategory?product=5401119&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en). The Realtek Ethernet drivers does not work with the one provided HP. Make sure you go to Realtek website and download that driver. It takes a great deal of time to download the correct drivers and get them installed properly. It was definitely worth it.
Cons: The HP Envy laptop are much better design that current model that HP is using. Maximum memory in the HP envy is 16GB vs 8GB in the pavilion. Sound is beats audio with 2 or 4 speakers and a subwoofer vs DTS stereo sound in the pavilion. Aluminum finish on the envy is much better than the plastic on the pavilion.
Other Thoughts: Overall a great buy at $499.00 (The on-hand stock supply at Newegg goes very fast and was restock a couple of times).READ FULL REVIEW
