This review is from: ASUS Z9PA-D8 ATX Server Motherboard Dual LGA 2011 DDR3 1600/1333/1066
Pros: Decent board for the price. Plenty of upgrade potential with memory capacity and hard drive capacity. Also, supported WIN 2012 out of the box.
Cons: A little lengthy for a standard ATX 2U chassis so I went with a 4U (I used Logisys because that's what was available locally but probably could have found a better fit online). I ordered 2 boards. One is running like a champ for 3 weeks but the other is on its second replacement. This is the reason for 3 stars.-
Other Thoughts: The cpu sockets are located too closely so I had to change my initial intel cpu cooler to an evercool (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835119169).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Intel RTS2011AC LGA 2011 CPU Cooler
Pros: Installed this in two separate workstation/server builds and so far no problems. It has an LED light that adds a little coolness factor to the build but otherwise is pretty standard.
Cons: Perfect for single cpu motherboards. However, for dual cpu builds this was too wide so it was not possible for the board I had (asus z9PA-8) to put them side by side.
Other Thoughts: Good cpu overall. I would recommend for any single cpu installation.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: EVERCOOL LGAL2011A-B715 75mm 2 Ball CPU Cooler
Pros: I bought these to replace Intel LGA2011 fans that I normally use. Because this was a dual cpu build I needed coolers that were not so bulky. These are perfect and extremely low profile. No problems so far as they were very easy to install and the ball bearing fans are pretty much noiseless.
Cons: They are heavy since made of copper
Other Thoughts: Looks like newegg stopped carrying these as they were discontinued after my purchase. Glad I was able to get them beforehand.READ FULL REVIEW
