Pros: Runs Star Citizen like a champ @ 2560x1080 on my LG Ultrawide monitor (LG 34UM64-P). Supports up coming DX 12. Unique Heavens old 1.0 benchmark looks and runs great on the combination of this 970 and monitor. Ran 3D Mark Vantage on Ultra, 200+fps on many of those benchmarks. No complaints.
Cons: I want another one for SLI.
Other Thoughts: I bought this card as Star Citizen was barely playable on my old EVGA 580 GTX Black Ops Edition, even with Virtu MVP running and giving it a few extra fps. I understand the game is in the pre-alpha phase however it was time to upgrade.
The 2560x1080 resolution of my monitor is not affected by the memory issue from what I can tell, so I am happy about that.
Pros: I purchased this monitor a couple weeks ago and it arrived with no dead pixels. Upgrading from an old Asus VK266H to this monitor was rather amazing. Grey level are fantastic and colors are rich and vibrant. Color modes allow the user to change into gaming modes, and photo editing modes, etc. as well as the ability to adjust the response rate between low, medium and high. Users can adjust the aspect ratio so if you are playing some older computers games such as World of War Craft Tides of Darkness your imaged is displayed properly in the center of the screen. Call of Duty Ghost is easily playable with a old 580GTX and i7 2600K Sandy bridge CPU at max settings at the monitors native resolution (2560x1080). There are approximately 8 screen split layout options with the software.
Cons: The software could be intuitive, and based on the location of where a window is dragged adjust the layout vs. having to manually adjust it all the time.- I hope LG responds to this request, as I know mfgs browse neweggs comments section.
Make sure you utilize the appropriate DVI cable (DVI-D) cable, otherwise the native resolution will not display properly. Or just use HDMI.
Other Thoughts: I purchased this monitor through a competitor as newegg was $160 more expensive. Sorry newegg.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great airflow. Smart design. My 580 GTX at idle with the fan on Max will cool down to 34c vs 40c with my old case where the card was in the horizontal position.
Cons: Because of the layout I had to move my tower or I could have bought new cables or extensions to connect my monitor, sound etc.
I wish the case had a built in speed controller for the fans.
Other Thoughts: Bought the case from a competitor for a far greater price, sorry Newegg.
Overall happy with the purchase, great case.
