This review is from: ASUS M4A79XTD EVO AM3 AMD 790X ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: easy to install and configure.
nicely designed and laid out.
plenty sata ports
fanless design makes for quieter case.
supports DDR3 1800 easily.
recognized my X4 955BE 125w with no issues
Cons: pin header is near the back of the board, case wiring almost does not reach
Other Thoughts: got this board along with X4 955BE 125w and 8GB of Mushkin Enhanced Blackline on 9/15 and everything worked flawlessly.
was able to set memory timings and voltages easily. Have not overclocked as dont feel the need to. Just moved from a 32bit single core P4 so this thing runs like a rocket ship to me.
-Good heat dissipation
Cons: none at all
Other Thoughts: got 8GB in a M4A79XTD EVO with a 955BE stock settings at 1.75 volts. Rock Solid and fast.
no need to overclock here.
