This review is from: Rosewill 2-Port USB 3.0 PCI Express Card Model RC-505
Pros: Easy install, Was worried because when I went to the Rosewell website to check for up to date drivers there wasn't any. The newest ones were from 2013 and were for Windows 7. I. I already knew Windows 7 drivers work fine in most cases with Windows 8.1 Pro. but sometimes you have to force installation. Not this time though. Card works great.
Cons: No drivers newer than Windows 7 that were made in 2013.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very few
Cons: Boasts having 5X's the speed of a traditional 5400 HDD. Ever since install of Windows 8.1 Pro 64, I have had nothing but problems. Slow speed, windows files disappearing. Even trying to do a system refresh and having my windows 8 state it does not recognize my win 8 disk!! Have had to do two clean installs and the problems still persist.
Other Thoughts: Granted this was a refurb drive and I knew that when I bought it. but I've never had this problem with a refurb in the past or a hybrid drive being this slow for that matter! I am currently backing up my files to a sata II drive that has faster read/write speeds then this newer drive!READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great price. I paid even less then it is priced now! May be they have fixed the problems I am having now.
External power source.
Cons: Yes I took more than two years to write this but I felt it should be written.
This monitor started off great! Then after about (8) eight months all of the black and darker colors started to ghost badly. I thought it was my graphics card so I upgraded it. The problem has and is only getting worse.
The HDMI for some reason has reverted to VGA. There may be a reason for that. Mine never came with an HDMI cable out of the factory.
Other Thoughts: It is said you get what you pay for. And in this case, it's buyer beware!READ FULL REVIEW
