Pros: Nice little computer if it works. Very upgradable model as opposed to the C720. Intel processor.
Cons: Did not boot up. I had to spend several hours figuring out how to make a recovery USB stick as whoever refurbed the machine, did not put an OS on it. Also, used would be the word I would use to describe the condition. Most refurbs look practically new, this did not. The top was scratched up and the glossy finish around the screen looked like someone used sandpaper to clean it. The warranty sticker on the bottom was broken, so the warranty is in question.
Other Thoughts: Probably would not buy an Acer refurb again. A brand new one would have been the way to go. I should have returned it, but wanted to play with it so I guess I will keep it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Great case, very well constructed. Has weight to it and not the aluminum beer car like construction of most cheap cases. Very surprised... but in a good way.
Nice looking case for the money.
Cons: Fans a little loud but expected it. No instructions, but I really didn't need them. Lights are a little small and blue would have been much nicer than the orange power light. Not complaining, but it was something I noticed.
Other Thoughts: Got it as a Shell Shocker. Thought I was buying a cheap case but turned out to be a gem.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Came with an upgraded processor. It has an E1-1500 which was a nice surprise. Windows 8.1 upgraded like a champ after I removed all the Gateway bloatware. I am using it with XBMC and it blows away the android stick I had been using.
Cons: Lots of bloatware on the OS like Symantec and Wildtangent games... etc. Simply going into add/remove programs, everything was listed. There is a hidden OEM directory that has other stuff if you wish to get rid of all that stuff.
Other Thoughts: Not sure why the other guy had issues installing 8.1. You have to install every Windows 8 update for it to go smooth before going to 8.1.READ FULL REVIEW
