QNIX QX2710 LED Evolution II Multi TRUE10 SE Monitor - 2560x1440 Overclockable
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Nice colors, response time, resolution is insane. Text is rendered amazingly well.

Cons: Wish it was a few inches bigger, like 30. Speakers really suck.

Other Thoughts: For 289, this is a sweet deal. Just don't expect the speakers to be worth anything.

Intel Core i5-4690K Devil's Canyon Quad-Core 3.5GHz LGA 1150 BX80646I54690K Desktop Processor Intel HD Graphics 4600
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Very fast, runs very cool, good price for what you get out of it, unlocked. It just flies in games.

Cons: I lost the silicon lottery. Seems this chip just won't go past 4.2 GHZ. I cranked the voltage to 1.275 and couldn't get 4.3 or 4.4 stable. Oh well, thats life, it still flies at 4.2 at 1.150 and runs really cool with my h100i.

Other Thoughts: Wished it could go higher but thats life, not worth taking an egg off.

XFX Double Dissipation R9-290A-EDFD Radeon R9 290 4GB 512-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 x16 HDCP Ready CrossFireX Support Video Card

Pros: Fast, unbelievably fast. Runs cool comparatively. Looks sleek. XFX logo lights up.

Cons: Huge. Make sure you have a large case. Might be large enough that sag could be an issue.

Other Thoughts: I cranked everything up in Metro 2033 in DX11 to see what I would get. I was averaging 70-80 FPS with occasional dips into the 40s when paired with a 4690k. Amazing.
