Pros: Works. Came with Nero.
Other Thoughts: Works. It's IDE (doesn't take up a precious SATA port -- yes, all my SATA ports are filled with HDD. 2x 1TB and 4x 1.5TB).
Some people are asking "why buy IDE anything?" It doesn't matter for disk drives. The IDE channel is not the biggest limiting factor here.
This review is from: Habey RPC-410 Steel 4U Rackmount Server Chassis 3 External 5.25" Drive Bays
Pros: Built solid.
Holds 6x 3.5 hard drives.
Not very noisy (but not completely silent either -- pretty normal for a OEM fan)
Cons: Buy right angle SATA cables. Even consider buying angle SATA power cables for your disk drives. Top won't close with standard SATA cables.
The matching rail kit, Habey RL-20 20" 3-sections Ball-Bearing Slide Rail59607886 , doesn't exactly match.
Only two of the four screws on each rail matched holes on the case.
Other Thoughts: I'd still buy another one.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 AM3 AMD 890GX HDMI SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Works well.
No issues with Solaris 10 x86 update 8.
Cons: Ethernet did not work with Solaris 10 x86 update 8 Full install. Had to download and move over drivers (gani) for onboard ethernet to work -- but gani drivers allow 1Gb, so it works. Just not out of box
Other Thoughts: Running Solaris 10 x86. 2x 1TB drives in UFS (SVM raid 0) and 4x 1.5TB drives in ZFS raid 5 (software, raidz). Paired with Athlon II x4.
No issus. Runs great.
